Distressed Properties How To Locate Them

One way to locate distressed properties is by going to you’re local city hall. (Foreclosures.com Lists)Your city or county building code enforcement agency is a good place to visit.

Let them know that you are in the business of real estate investing. Don't forget to introduce yourself; these folks just might be you're next best friend. Explain to them, that you are interested in distressed properties and that your business is rehabbing these properties. Get into a discussion about their condemned buildings or properties that have multiple violations. All agencies have a file on these types of properties.

More then likely they will have no problem discussing and showing you this information.
